The flagship models from the successful QUANTUM QXE speaker series received an extensive overhaul in the new V2 generation. With the completely newly designed 16.5 cm mid-woofer featuring a new basket and the also newly designed 25 mm fabric-dome neodymium tweeter, many speakers will have to measure up again.

The QXE6.2WV2 mid-woofer impresses not only with its newly styled and torsion-resistant steel basket, but above all with its internal qualities. With its 30 mm voice coil, it is very well equipped for high-power operation. This is supported by generous cooling, such as the rear pole vent and the openings in the speaker basket. The extremely powerful 17 ounce magnet enables a truly exceptional efficiency of 94 dB at 2.83V/1m!

The QUANTUM QXE6.2TV2 fabric-dome neodymium tweeter as a V2 version is a complete redesign. A look at the measurement report reveals the potential of this extremely good 25 mm neodymium tweeter: It shows a frequency response that looks as if it were drawn with a ruler! Incredibly linear well beyond 22,000 Hz, this tweeter plays with absolute authority and effortless ease. The grille can be unscrewed along with the housing via a metric thread and significantly reduces the required space if needed (e.g. in a mirror triangle). For surface mounting, an ABS housing is included in the delivery. Includes a 6 dB cable crossover.
