Even at first glance, the chassis, weighing up to 25 kg, reveal that these are highly powerful representatives of a modern subwoofer series. But by no means are they pure SPL subwoofers that can only play loudly. Quite the opposite: The ESX Vision subwoofers are sonically outstanding masterpieces that faithfully and cleanly follow every tone into the lowest registers without ever losing control. Thanks to their high efficiency, they already perform wonderfully from a power output of 1000 watts. However, if you give these beasts their due and feed them their rated power of 3000 or 4000 watts, they unleash primal forces and an impact that is second to none. In a vehicle, levels of up to 151 dB with the 30 cm subwoofer (in a 70 L enclosure) and 154 dB with the 38 cm subwoofer (in a 100 L enclosure) are no problem. Provided, of course, you want them to. Even at low volumes, the woofers play with absolute authority and a great sense of perfection. Technically, the VISION VE-Woofer series impresses with sturdy die-cast aluminum baskets, triple-magnet drives, chrome-plated pole pieces, dual Nomex spiders with sewn-in leads, and generous ventilation to cool the large 76 mm CCAW voice coil.
