The SIGNUM SXE series is visually inspired by the successful HORIZON HXE series, but its massive connection terminals and premium aluminum end panels already show that it plays in a class of its own. Sonically, too, the new amplifiers are the first choice: The high-quality NE5532 operational amplifiers in the input section ensure the finest resolution across the entire frequency range and guarantee the lowest distortion levels. The high-level inputs with an automatic turn-on function have also been upgraded; they are equipped with the “Error Protection System” (EPS®) so that no functions are impaired when connected to OEM factory radios, and no error messages are written to the vehicle memory. The powerful Class D monoblocks also offer a phase control and a Master/Slave option for linking two identical amps, including a very small, easy-to-install cable remote control for the bass level.
