The SIGNUM subwoofers in the ESX range have become a real insider tip thanks to their outstanding qualities: they deliver excellent sound performance, feature very high-quality workmanship and come well equipped. The new SXE subwoofers are no exception, delivering their full performance especially in bass reflex enclosures. A particular highlight is the included, pre-mounted and extremely sturdy protective grille. It not only protects the diaphragm from damage, but also makes a striking visual impression with its hexagonal honeycomb pattern and curved structure. Furthermore, there is no need to spend extra on additional protective grilles, making the SXE woofers particularly attractive in terms of price.

The SIGNUM SXE subwoofers not only benefit from the pre-mounted protective grilles, but their high-quality die-cast aluminium baskets also make a real difference. They not only look good, but also significantly improve the structural stability. There is virtually no material vibration.

A key aspect of subwoofers is their drive, which is also very generous in the SXE models: all three sizes feature heavy dual magnets, which in turn drive long-wire-wound dual voice coils with an impedance of 2+2 ohms. Thanks to the dual voice coils, the subwoofers are highly versatile: whether connected to a stable 1-ohm monoblock amplifier or conventional 2- or 4-channel power amplifiers, the woofers adapt very well to virtually any amplifier on the market thanks to their variable connection impedance.
