Conceptually massively oversized and equipped with every conceivable feature, our EXCURSION XXX delivers merciless fun and deep-bass power. It will put your vehicle to a very severe test, just as it has successfully done in competitions, achieving record-breaking results all the way to world championships. To achieve this, the three-layer component design provides centering that keeps these extraordinary excursions under control within the indestructible XXX long-throw basket. In keeping with the brand's signature style, conventional cheap pressure-spring terminals have been avoided. Instead, massive double 10mm² high-current busbars and grub screws ensure a perfect hold under the most extreme operating conditions. Furthermore, the Hollywood ENERGETIC HPST8 (10mm² double busbar) is available in the accessory range, allowing the XXX to be connected to up to 8x 10mm² cable leads. The 2.5mm² strands, carefully woven into the centering, are also doubled up to direct all the power delivered through the full 8 strands to the 6-layer aluminum flat-wire voice coil. The XXX flat-wire voice coil features a correspondingly high winding height of 64mm, which receives the necessary cooling through ventilation openings in the upper area of the carrier and beneath the dust cap. Three large, high-quality 8" magnet plates form a 700oz pure-power drive engine, pushing the recessed Kraft Pulp membrane from one end of its maximum excursion to the other. Thanks to its carbon fiber inserts, it retains its full stability, and thanks to its high-quality, massively oversized corrugations, it never leaves its orbit. Finally, to visually illustrate these long-throw paths, we designed a 3D dust cap that symbolically shows who is boss in this trunk.
