The ZEUS series has stood for power and excellent sound in the HiFonics range for many years. For the first time, in addition to component systems and coaxials, individual components such as high-quality die-cast aluminum mid-range drivers and woofers are now available, making 3-way combinations possible. The woofer in the component set (available separately as ZX6.2W) comes with a die-cast aluminum basket and an aluminum phase plug. The sandwich diaphragm is made of a triple fiberglass composite material, which is particularly lightweight yet exceptionally stable. The frequency response is extremely linear and requires almost no correction by "crossover tricks". The powerful 14-ounce magnet drive provides plenty of power, driving a very large 30.5 mm voice coil. This makes a total mechanical excursion of up to +/- 11 mm possible. The also separately available 25 mm ZX6.2T fabric neodymium tweeter with coupling volume (resonance frequency 700Hz) covers a particularly large frequency range up to well over 24 kHz very linearly.

The highlight of the 2-way component set, however, is that it is already prepared for 3-way operation: The 7.5 cm optional ZXM3 mid-range driver can be connected additionally to the ZXO-2 crossover without much effort: Simply switch the jumpers in the crossover to 3-way, connect the mid-range driver with the bandpass crossover; done. The mid-range driver also shines with excellent components such as a die-cast aluminum basket, an aluminum diaphragm, a large 25 mm voice coil, as well as an extra rear-ventilated centering spider and powerful neodymium drive.
